Hey all, sorry for the late update. Here’s a break from the old Monte Diablo photos with a new one from the Christmas holiday season (I just got these back from scanning at Precision Camera in Austin, TX after getting them developed at Dwayne’s) on Kodachrome:
I can tell right now that the compression is messing this photo up and it’s much sharper on my computer, and especially as a slide transparency. Actually, that’s true for all of the photos I’m putting up here. Only like quarter realized how big of a difference it is before. Anyway, a flower for Kodachrome, RIP.

Sorry for the lack of update yesterday. Big snafu with trying to get transportation from my roommates since my car is (and will be for the foreseeable future) in the shop.
Kodachrome finally got back from the scanners yesterday! On a related note, found out that Etelvina (my Carl Zeiss Ikon rangefinder) doesn’t always take up film even when I think it does. I just wish it didn’t take me like 12 rolls of film (including 8 of Kodachrome) to figure that out. Oh well.
Won’t be getting the Fujifilm X100 for now. Can’t afford a fun purchase for a while.
